instructors to simulate enemy fi ghters. Combat Aircraft looks at some

of the current colors.

The NFWS fl ies several F/A-18C Hornets,

most of which wear standard gray colors.

However, a few have started sporting black

paint around the canopy.

Two freshly painted F/A-18Cs joined

TOPGUN’s ranks this year, including BuNo

164646/37, which was fi rst noted at Fallon
