Assemble A and

A Reversed Units

Measurements include^1 ⁄ 4 " seam

allowances. Sew with right sides

together unless otherwise stated.

Press seams in directions indicated

by arrows on diagrams. If no

direction is specifi ed, press seam

toward darker fabric.

1. Sew together two solid cream
   11 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips and two solid tan
   11 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips to make a cream-and
   tan strip set (Diagram 1). Repeat
   to make four cream-and-tan strip
   sets total. Using Pattern A template,
   cut strip sets into six cream-and-
   tan A units and six cream-and-tan
   A reversed units (Diagram 2).


2. Using solid terra-cotta and solid
   peach 1^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips, repeat Step 1
   to make two terra-cotta–and-peach
   strip sets. Cut strip sets into three
   terra-cotta–and-peach A units
   and three terra-cotta–and-peach
   A reversed units (Diagram 3).


3. Using solid terra-cotta and solid
   cream 1^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips, repeat Step 1
   to make four terra-cotta–and-cream
   strip sets. Cut strip sets into six
   terra-cotta–and-cream A units and
   six terra-cotta-and-cream A reversed
   units (Diagram 4).


4. Using solid cream and solid peach
   11 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips, repeat Step 1 to
   make one cream-and-peach strip set.
   Cut strip set into one cream-and-
   peach A unit and one cream-and-
   peach A reversed unit (Diagram 5).


5. Using solid tan and solid peach
   11 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips, repeat Step 1 to
   make two tan-and-peach strip sets.
   Cut strip sets into three tan-and-
   peach A units and three tan-and-
   peach A reversed units (Diagram 6).
