This juvenile Condor
couldn’t have been
more different from the fully
grown one we had
photographed earlier in the
day – it was a cute ball of fluff! I lay down on
the ground to take this image, so that I was
eye-level with the bird, and used my widest
available aperture which was f/4 to diffuse the
background as much as possible and create
some bokeh circles. I used AI Servo mode to
continually focus on the condor as it walked
around and waited for it to strike an interesting
pose to press the shutter.
