Galaxy devices have always offered Qualcomm
Snapdragon processors in most markets together
with a variant running Samsung’s own Exynos

octa-core processor. This is very much unknown
at this time – in our hands-on the device felt very
fast with none of the slowdown that is often
experience on devices with QHD screens, but it will
be important long-term to see how well the device
performs in a variety of different situations,
whether there are any heat issues (as has been
rumoured for the Snapdragon 810), how the fast
charging compares to Qualcomm’s QuickCharge
and most important, how long the chip can eke
out of that new, reduced capacity battery.
