  pretty much no let up
  because hesitating too much

  simple fl ick sends your critter scampering across the
  screen dodging cars, trucks and trains. This game is
  nothing more or less than you would expect. It’s fun and
  frustrating but that’s purely down to your own abilities, as
  the game mechanics work perfectly and there is always a
  gap as long as you are brave enough to take it. We loved
  the range of animals and prizes on offer in this basic but
  very entertaining game.

Rock, Paper, Scissors

was one of the

simplest games ever

until the Big Bang Theory

added Lizard and Spock into

the mix. However, Mars On A

Stick has changed the trio of

eternal rivals to Cute, Evil and

Strange monsters. Choose

your monster and attempt to

win coins and streaks by

beating monsters controlled

by AI or other players in a

best-of-three Cute, Evil,

Strange battle. The

animations are good fun and

it’s a well made game, but the random nature of the game

mechanics is frustrating. No matter how much you play

this game, you won’t be able to improve your skills. The

option to battle anyone worldwide is nice, but when was

the last time you played Rock, Paper, Scissors for fun? It’s

a decent game but lacks skill development.

It’s bright and

visually appealing to

look at. Zynga has

built its reputation

on pick-up-and-play

games and Words On Tour is exactly

the kind of game you need for that

spare fi ve minutes, it’s taxing

without being impossible. The

leaderboard adds a crucial

competitive element that would

otherwise be missing from the

game, and you don’t have that worry

of being nudged by an impatient

opponent – it is the ideal, stress-

free travelling companion.
