Translate text in apps
You can now translate certain languages
without leaving your app. If you come across an
unfamiliar word, press and hold the text. Use the
sliders to select all the required text.
1 Select the unknown word
Once you’ve selected the text, you will see
a menu pop-up that offers the option to cut, copy
or share the text. Tap the triple-dot menu and
Translate will appear.2 Find the translate option
Tap on Translate and an information box
will pop up on your screen from where you can
choose which language to translate to, all without
leaving the app you are in.3 Translate the text
Get ed launcher
The
in-app Google
Translate option
isn’t available on all
apps. Currently, the main
apps it works with are
LinkedIn, Trip Advisor
and WhatsApp with
