48 CHAPTER 2: Configuring Your Android App Development System
- Next, you need to specify which Sensors the Neptune Pine has; the Pine
has a Gyroscope and Accelerometer, as Figure 2-16 shows, so let’s check
these two checkboxes in the Sensors section on the left side of the dialog
shown in Figure 2-17. - Next, you will specify what Cameras the Neptune Pine supports, and as
you can see in Figure 2-16, on the right side of their web site under Camera,
the Neptune Pine has both a front-facing as well as a rear-facing camera, so
check both the Front and Rear check boxes. Even Dick Tracy himself would
be proud to own this SmartWatch with these types of advanced features! - Since there are no Input devices included with the Neptune Pine (unless of
course your user adds one, using the advanced Bluetooth 4.0 capability that
the Neptune Pine features), you can leave your default
No Nav radio button selected. - As you can see in Figure 2-16, under the Memory section of the Neptune
Pine web site, the Neptune Pine SmartWatch product supports 512MB of
memory, so enter 512 in the RAM section, and leave the drop-down selector
set to MiB, which stands for MegaBytes! Why MiB? The only reason I can
think of is that this drop-down uses GiB for GigaBytes, which would be a
more accurate abbreviation!
