612 CHAPTER 16: The Future of Android: The 64-Bit Android 5.0 OS

Click the Cancel button in the Settings dialog shown in Figure 16-14 and return to the Configure
Android Studio dialog shown on the left in Figure 16-15. This time click on the Project Defaults
option to explore Project Default setting configurations and then click the Run Configurations
option that is shown on the right side of Figure 16-15. Next you’ll explore the Project Run and
Project Debugging options in IntelliJ Android Studio 5.0.

Figure 16-15. Click on the Project Defaults option (left) and then on the Run Configurations option (right)

This will open up the Run/Debug Configurations dialog, shown in Figure 16-16, where you can
set Project Run and Project Debugging options for a number of different IntelliJ areas, the most
important of which is obviously the Android Application option, shown on the top-left of the dialog.
As you can see in the right side of Figure 16-16, this is where you select your APK, Activity, and
Emulator options, which are certainly important for your app testing work process as well as for the
ultimate application deployment if the development work is finished.
