modes, in that you use the camera to take a long, sweeping image,
in the process producing one very long photograph. To access
the various modes, simply tap the Mode button in the lower-left
corner and then scroll through the various options. What’s more, if
you scroll down to the bottom of the list you will find the option to
download more modes.


Change the camera settings
While in the app, enter the Settings mode. Since the menu sits in
a floating box, it’s not immediately obvious that you can scroll to
the further settings below. Some of the settings available include
Exposure value, which is a sort of manual Scene mode; a Macro or
Auto focus mode; a timer that you can set between two and ten
seconds for picture-taking; and also an ISO setting, which affects the
shutter speed by taking into account the available light. Anti-Shake
should prevent blurry images while the White balance gives you a
choice between Daylight, Cloudy, Incandescent or Fluorescent.
Other useful settings include Metering, Outdoor visibility, Auto
contrast, Guidelines (which places a grid on the screen according to
the rule of thirds) and GPS tagging to locate your images.
