The Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) recently released its first
economic impact study in Canada, showing just how impactful business aviation
is in this country. The numbers are impressive and in the words of CBAA
president Rudy Toering, the information is “ground breaking.” Said Toering:
“We finally have the evidence to back our claims about business aviation’s
importance.” The data is key for the CBAA’s continued advocacy efforts and its
drive to get government to understand the industry’s impact as an economic
driver. “This study clearly shows that business aviation has a significant and
catalytic impact on our economy and jobs.”
