One of the most richly detailed areas of NGC 7000,
the North America Nebula, is the “Mexico” region.
It’s riddled with delicate strands of dust silhouetted
against bright emission nebulosity.
Details: TEC APO 140 refractor with QSI 583 CCD
camera. Total exposure was 11 hours through Astrodon
