cropolis Aviation became
the launch customer for
the Airbus ACJ320neo
when it ordered a single
airframe at the European
Business Aviation Convention and
Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva in- Two years later, the Swiss city’s
Palexpo convention centre
was again the venue for two more
significant announcements from
the Farnborough-based operator.
The first saw Swiss completions
specialists AMAC Aerospace revealed
as the contractor chosen to fit out the
aircraft. The Basel-based firm is cele-

brating its tenth anniversary this year
and has completed 19 VIP and VVIP
cabin fits in that time. The green
airframe will be delivered to AMAC
in Q4 2018 and is scheduled to be
handed over to Acropolis in Q4 2019.
The company’s existing aircraft,
ACJ319 G-NOAH (c/n 3826), was fitted
out by Airbus’ own in-house comple-
tions team, but following the manu-
facturer’s withdrawal from that mar-
ket, Acropolis has been on the look-
out for a new partner to bring its latest
Alberto Pinto-designed cabin to life.
Jonathan Bousfield explained that
AMAC Aerospace’s commitment toquality had secured the contract for
the firm. The Acropolis Aviation
CEO said the ACJ319 has a “super,
super cabin” and he wanted to make
sure the ACJ320neo was going to be
even better.
“They are absolutely on top of their
game and that’s how we want our
next aeroplane to look,” Bousfield
told Airliner World. “We needed
to select the right outfitter to bring
Alberto Pinto’s amazing vision to life,
and from our point of view AMAC
demonstrated to us they had the skill
and creativity to do this better than
