ingTech Turbines of Taiwan appear to
be on course to offer an engine of
almost every thrust category where
there is a demand, with RCJI having already
tested a total of 10 different turbines. Theengine under test in this issue; the K-120G,
nominally of 12.0Kg thrust, fits in one of the
few gaps, slotting in between the previously
tested K-85G2 and K-140 turbines.
Packed as usual in a shaped foam insertwithin a tough cardboard box, the K-120G
arrived safely after its long journey from
Taiwan, and was quickly unpacked for
inspection. Continuing the family tradition,
the turbine itself has the familiar red anodisedK
As is standard for KingTech, the K-120G2 turbine
package is very comprehensive, just requiring the
addition of an ECU battery.The very compact size of the K-120G2 shows up
