The PLATEminus was designed to be the lightest plate carrier available.

Perfect for low profile/low-viz work, PLATEminus eliminated all of

the unnecessary bulk enabling it to be worn under outer garments

while still being fully MOLLE compatible. Due to this carrier's light

weight approach you really do need to use dummy plates to get the best shape and

appearance.

Not only is PLATE 2 the second in the PLATEminus line but is the solution for the

two most requested features – side plate pockets and a cummerbund.

PLATE 2 is built with the same fully MOLLE compatible MOLLEminus

platform as the original PLATEminus. This provides fully modular load

carriage capability but significantly reduces weight and bulk over

traditional armour carriers. The whole platform was built around real

world plates. The side plates are also fully enclosed with a unique

and effective double fold. The front of the side plate pockets are

also MOLLE compatible to mount all of your mission critical ammo

and utility pouches. The cummerbund is fully adjustable and features

military grade Ten-Speed elastic. These also double as mag pouches or

hold similar sized items right where you need them.

We're not going to lie, yes you have seen this plate carrier used in

Ai before, we featured a DCU version in the 12 strong article a while

back, but the woodland version with a different pouch configuration

was too good of an opportunity to turn down. This platform is

essentially Guarders take on an FSBE 1 plate carrier and quite frankly one of the

best, if not the best replica on the market. The Full Spectrum Battle Equipment

Amphibious Assault Vest was first deployed by the American Marine Corps. The

entire FSBE kit includes the vest body, a throat protector, a groin protector and

an assortment of load bearing pouches and was only used in high-risk direct

action (DA) missions. Complete overload that was necessary in the real

world but surplus to requirements on the skirmish field. The plate carrier

features seven rows of MOLLE, which is enough space to attach 4 x M4

mags and a few other skirmish field essentials up high on the chest

region.

Made from DuPont 500-Denier/1000-Denier CORDURA this

replica brings real world quality to the skirmish field at a

fraction of real world prices.

Sizing can become a problem for the larger players amongst us

as the largest platform available is in XL to fit a 48" chest.
