Zoukei-Mura

A

lthough this manufacturer

is well known for its

large range of kits and

accessories, unless you attend

some of the larger models shows

around the world you may be

unaware of their range of bases.

Moulded in resin they are

pre-inished so it is just a case of

removing them from the plastic

wrapping and add your model.

The example we have received

for review features a section of

concrete slabs with a small are of

snow-covered earth and is 1/32

scale and was designed to hold this

manufacturers Dornier Do-335.

It is available in two versions,

with or without a yellow painted

line on the runway section.

CONCLUSION

bases and if you like the US Navy

the ones designed to compliment

the 1/48 scale Phantom family are

highly recommended. Zoukei-

circular wooden holders into which

the resin bases fit perfectly.

MH Models

A

s always, after a show

like Eday. we end up

with too many things

to feature in one issue! So, this

month we take a look at two

new sets in 1/72 scale from MH

Models. These sets will be of

particular interest to fans of

French aviation, who are looking

to add some detailed munitions

to their builds, the training

round is particularly welcome

as it is that little bit diferent.

Sierra Hotel

T

he inal sets that we

received at the US

Nationals from Sierra

Hotel include a beautifully

cast correction for the

inaccurate engine inlet

and engine fan on the 1/48

scale Hobbyboss and Italeri

kits 1/48 Scale which in my

view is a vital addition as

it is noticeably superior to the

kit pits. Another addition for

the A-10 is the dual rail launcher

adaptor, which enabled the

Warthog to carry two Sidewinder

missiles and was a normal it

from the 1990’s onwards.

The inal set is the 1/32

scale ECM pod adaptor pylon

itted to many F-16s but not

to date correctly portrayed

in any kit in this scale.
