brake lines, and the undercarriage
doors are rather chunky in this
scale, so they could be replaced by
some plasticard. I did like the fact
that Valom has moulded flats on
the main wheels, a nice touch.The landing lights require
that holes be drilled into the
wings to accommodate them,
but the nose light and navigation
lights just drop into place.
Curiously, an additional light (part
C5) is shown in the instructions to
attach to the tip of the tail, but no
such part is included on the sprues.
The four Gypsy Twelve engines
have two exhausts each and these
were added now, having been
pre-painted earlier. Finally the“THIS KIT ASSEMBLES INTO AN
EXCELLENT REPLICA, AND IT PROVED
TO BE A MOST ENJOYABLE BUILD”
