Mk.IIb, and the following month
was delivered for use at Service
Flying Training Schools, initially
at Moncton, New Brunswick and
then Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
During that time, the aircraft
helped to train future fighter pilots
who progressed to fly Spitfires,
Mustangs and all other fighters
then operational. She was stored as
a reserve on November 1944 and
remained in that state until
struck off RCAF charge on
November 15, 1946.
A long journey awaited this
Harvard, though, after it was
purchased by the Swedish Air Force
(Flygvapnet) in February 1947
and given the serial Fv16047; the
Flygvapnet designated the type as
the Sk 16A at that
time. On August 23,
at Moncton, New Brunswick and
