Manchester, on November 9.
Built in 1963, it fi rst fl ew on
November 5 of that year in
the hands of Tony Blackman,
and was the last Vulcan to be
painted in an overall white
paint scheme. The aircraft
had fallen into some disrepair
following years of exposure to
the elements, but has now been
returned to its former glory
by the Avro Heritage Trust. It
was unveiled to the public on
October 25, 2016.
