1968 Dodge Charger — @POWEREDBYJOHAN

Ticking the boxes is what this
recently completed build does.
With an Art Morrison frame and
Wilwood brakes all round, it is
sure to handle and stop, too —
which it will need to, since it is
packing a 1100hp twin-turbo
Cammer motor filled with the
best parts from Robert Pond,
Sonny Bryant, Precision Turbo,
and more. Tough!

It’s a Dodge Charger but not as we know it.
Hailing from Sweden, Johan and his team
created a monster and debuted it to the world
at the SEMA Show. A Dodge Viper V10 and
twin turbos push this beast well into the four-
digit horsepower world and, with a custom
chassis and air-suspension system plus carbon
ceramic brakes from a Bentley Continental GT,
it can show and stop with the best of them.
Finishing the package are hundreds of body
and interior modifications, plus custom 22x11-
inch and 24x15-inch wheels. Sweed as!

What do you do when you want a 1961
Chevrolet Blazer but no such thing was
ever made? You contact the crew at
Sic Chops and let them chop 22 inches
out of the body and two inches off the
top, mate it to a custom Roadster Shop
frame, and fill it with 840hp of
Don Hardy LSA power. Then you go and
win awards all the way, from Goodguys
Rod and Custom Association to the
Grand National Roadster Show.

Typically, if you want to shake up the
internet, you just post a photo of an
LS engine in a Ford, but Kyle Scaife
has taken this to the next level by
building a custom tube chassis with
full Chevrolet C5 drivetrain and initial
suspension set-up. Then he has
widened it, chopped it, and slammed
it as far as it can go. One thing is
for sure: it’s definitely got a few
impressions on social media!
