glistens on dewdrops that dangle from a spider’s web
inatomatoplantinmygarden.Thesquashliftsits
yellow trumpets to celebrate the morning, and busy
beesworkdeepintheirrecesses.HereandthereI
spotawatermelonabovethevines.Foralongtime,
Iguardedthisplaceofpeaceandquiet.Whenthe
children followed me into the garden, I would hand
