Baggies, having joined from Racing
Club in 2012. A defensive midfielder,
Yacob is known for his tough
tackling and hard-working approach
to the game.


James Morrison
Position: Midfielder Age: 31
Capable of playing anywhere across
the midfield, Morrison has made
over 300 appearances for West
Brom since joining in 2007. A
regular at international level for
Scotland, he possesses good
passing and crossing ability.


Matt Phillips
Position: Midfielder Age: 26
The Scotland international enjoyed
an impressive first season with West


Brom last term, scoring four goals
and providing regular assists. The
winger has previously played for

QPR, Blackpool and Wycombe
Wanderers.

Chris Brunt
Position: Midfielder Age: 32
Brunt has been with West Brom for
10 years and made over 500
appearances in his club career. The
Northern Irishman, who can play as
a midfielder or left-back, is a hard-
working player with the ability to
unleash powerful shots on goal with
his left foot.

James McClean
Position: Midfielder Age: 28
Now in his third season with the club
having joined from Wigan in the
summer of 2015, the Irishman is
usually deployed on the left wing
and possesses great pace and good
finishing ability.

Oliver Burke
Position: Midfielder Age: 20
Having begun his career at
Nottingham Forest, Burke was
targeted by many big clubs during
the summer of 2016 before joining
German side RB Leipzig. The winger
returned to England in August for
£15 million, breaking his own record
as the most expensive Scottish
footballer.

always have a place in the hearts
of all West Bromwich Albion fans.
‘Superbob’, as he was fondly known
by the Baggies faithful, joined the club
from Bristol City for £ 300 , 000 in January
1992 and scored 113 times during his
first spell at The Hawthorns.
The Easington-born striker returned
during the 1999 - 2000 season following a
stint with Bolton Wanderers, and his
strike against Charlton Athletic on the
final day rescued the club from relegation
to Division Two.
Taylor’s final goal for the club in the 2 - 0
win over Crystal Palace in April 2002 was
even more important, as it secured the
Baggies’ promotion to the Premier
League for the first time.

Jonny Evans
Position: Defender Age: 29
The Baggies fought hard to keep
Evans at the club over the summer
after he was the subject of bids
from the likes of Manchester City,
Arsenal and Leicester. Currently
captain of the West Midlands outfit,
the Northern Ireland international
started out at Manchester United,
where he won three Premier League
titles.
