07: DESIGN FIELD HOUSE
LOCATION BRIGHTON, VICTORIA
This modern home is packed with features
that inspire and delight. Says architect and
owner Robert Puksand of the build: “I thought
it would be really cool to design a house
where it felt like you were living in a sculpture
rather than a traditional building.” When the
chill of winter sets in, Robert and his family
can get cosy around the suspended Oblica
fi replace in the living room, which looks out
over the pool and surrounds.

08: DESIGN NORTH MANLY HOUSE
LOCATION NORTH MANLY, SYDNEY
The brief for the architects for this home
centred on designing a family-friendly space
with maximum views and lots of room to
move. It does all that and a whole lot more.
“The end result is a beautiful modern family
home that off ers fl exibility, functionality,
relaxation, and enjoyment in every aspect of
living,” says architect Kristin Utz. When winter
comes, they have that covered too. A stylish
fi replace warms up the dining area and living
space. It is a statement piece that also serves
to partially divide the rooms in a clever way.
