- no.1 paintbrush

- 20cm (8in) round board
- 1m black 15mm ribbon
1 When set, roll out black sugarpaste
and cover cake. Smooth down sides
with your palms and trim excess with
a pizza cutter, then smooth using
Bellissimo flexi smoothers to create a
flawless finish and a straight edge.5 Whilst wet, sprinkle gold sparkles
dust over the board randomly and
leave to dry.PARTY CAKES
3 Cut excess with a palette knife
and gently smooth over the top
with a smoother.4 Mix some gold dust with a little
vodka and airbrush board gold.7 Mix a small amount of silver dust
with vodka to make a paint and
paint a small cocktail glass next to
the bottle with a clean no.1 brush.
Paint the liquid in the glass gold
with the excess gold paint.8 Use the remaining gold and
silver paint to paint different sized
bubbles around the bottle,
