2 From the foam core cut where
indicated to insert and hot glue a
straw. Hot glue all bases together
like a sandwich. Make sure that
your skewer can slide comfortably
inside the straw.1 Using template provided, trace
and cut base of cake from the MDF
board, foam core and cake board.3 Using your base as a template,
cut it from your 25cm cake.4 Now using a blueprint or
template provided, carve around
the image, first from the top view
then side view. Don’t forget to
remove space for wheels.5 After carving, ganache and
refrigerate the cake.6 Once ganache has set hard,
cover with sugaraste and indent all
marks necessary. Use your template
to mark all windows and any
features that the car has.p30-31_Verusca Car.indd 30 09/11/2017 17:17
