In 2012, brother and sister Karl and Kristine Egger took over the
winery Tenuta di Carleone, near Radda in Chianti, and went on to buy
two nearby ruins. The utmost care was taken by the architect, Chris
Jakusconek, when renovating both into villas, in order to maintain
their rustic character, while keeping modern comfort and luxury in
mind. Villa Pianvecchio sleeps 12, while Castiglioni sleeps 14. Both
properties have a pool, fitness room, yoga area, spa and children ́s
playground, and multilingual staff are available for any questions or
