POTENTIAL CHALLENGER
HI, I AM wondering who I need to contact in regards
to information about the applications for Drag
Challenge 2018? I am very interested in entering
next year, but am unsure on what the selection
process is. Do we need to know someone, or be
invited, or do we submit pictures of the car and
vehicle details?
I recently travelled to Summernats this year with
the car and was part of the City Cruise – and what
a cool trip it was – so I’m ready for some more
cross-country touring and awesome experiences.
If you have any further info or contact details
for someone that can assist me it would be
greatly appreciated.
Paul Smith, email

HEY mate! At this stage, just email your full contact
deets, pictures of your car and some info about
it. We’ll put you on the database and email when
entries are open – which won’t be until well into

INTERESTED BUYER
I HAVEN’T seen the second-hand buyers’ guide

you guys were running in the last two issues and
am wondering if it got the axe or if it’ll make a
return in 2018? I really enjoyed the genuinely
useful information about what to look for, both good
and bad, when buying a second-hand car. I only
wish it had been around when I bought my XR6
Turbo back in 2009 (let’s just chalk that up to life
experience). Anyway, I thought it was a cracker of
an article series and was always keen to see what
make and model was in the next issue. Hope to see
it back again soon.
Keep up the awesome content both in the mag
and online as well!

SUSS SPEC
I LIKED your article in the October issue re: Aussie
car songs. What I want to know is: how did Cold
Chisel get fuelie heads to fit on their 454? And why
would you put small-block heads on a big-block?
Maybe they got them off Bruce Springsteen’s 396
(Racing in the Streets)!
Dave Hayhurst, Metalcraft Customs, email

WE’RE puzzled by that too, Dave. Not sure where
the L34 bits fit in, either! – Telfo
