The entire Victorian High Country

region is subject to seasonal tracks

closures put in place to protect tracks

and facilities from erosion during peri-

ods of heavy snow and rainfall. Track

closures help to maintain track quality,

reduce the incidence of accidents and

keep water quality high.

Seasonal closures are generally

in place from the June long weekend

through to late October or early No-

vember, but can run early or late due

to unseasonal snow, heavy rain or

large fallen trees that make popular

tracks unpassable.
