Water, wires, ice and endless
amounts of dirt – welcome to Mud
Day. Founded in Paris in 2013,
Mud Day has now spread to Spain,
Belgium, Switzerland and Israel. It’s
a very different kind of obstacle
course in which participants must
overcome 22 hurdles spread over a
gruelling 13-km course – a challenge
much like that of a military training
exercise. Although the majority of
the 5000 or so competitors pushed
themselves to their absolute limits,
the goal of 2017’s Tel Aviv event
was to have good ‘clean’ fun.
