former pro tennis player – he exuded
pride in declaring his company’s
focus on customer safety, with its
fleet of Yutong buses and coaches all
factory-fitted with seatbelts.
NSBC is part of the NSBC Group, a
highly successful local Sydney business
owned by Riley, and it’s said to be one
of Australia’s largest Australian-owned
bus and charter coach companies.
It now boasts a fleet of more than
100 charter vehicles, ranging from
mini-coaches to midi coaches, and
standard buses through to large luxury
coaches – but its flagship vehicles are
Yutong buses.
NSBC services a number of schools
on Sydney’s North Shore and across
Greater Sydney with student passenger
transportation key - hence safety
and reliability is paramount. These
services supplement those provided by
Transport for NSW, the company states,
and it also provides charter services for
corporates, clubs and sporting bodies.
Yutong, said to be the world’s
biggest single bus manufacturer,
delivered more than 70,000 vehicles
to more than 120 countries in 2017, it’s
reported. Every year around the world,
Yutong buses run 43,000,000,
kilometres and carry 34,000,000,
passengers, it’s claimed.
In Australia, Yutong delivered more
than 120 buses in 2017, with the
company proud to deliver its 100th
consecutive Yutong bus to NSBC,
according to company spokespeople.
To mark the occasion, senior
executives from Yutong – including
Hu Huaiban, director of international
business - along with official
representatives of the Chinese
government and local politicians
gathered to commemorate the
milestone event.
