BREAKING FAIRWAY TRADITION

Callaway’s new Rogue fairway woods mark the fi rst time the
company’s ‘Jailbreak’ technology has been used in a
fairway wood.
‘Jailbreak’ sees two vertical steel rods cast into the body of
each head to strengthen the relationship between the crown and
sole for increased distance and forgiveness.
‘Internal Standing Wave’ and ‘Triaxial Carbon Crown’
technologies allowed Callaway’s engineers to raise the moment of
inertia (MOI) and precisely place the centre of gravity (CG) in the
new fairways.
The standard model is built for easy launch with a low CG, while
the Sub Zero model is engineered with a low and forward CG for
low spin.
Working in harmony with the innovative Jailbreak technology,
the Rogue’s Carpenter 455 steel face and ‘Hyper Speed Fac
deliver even more increases in ball speed across a lar
improved distance and forgiveness.
RRP: $429.99.

TIME TO ADAPT

Puma’s Ignite Pwradapt collection contains three styles
designed to offer increased traction through the use of new
‘Pwradapt’ sole technology.
The technology utilises three-dimensional traction pods that
allow each spike to move independently from each other, adapting
to the way a golfer moves.
For comfort and stability to match the new range’s improved
traction, Cobra used its responsive ‘Ignite Foam’ for the entire
length of the midsole for the fi rst time in a spiked shoe.
The Ignite Pwradapt features a new ‘Comfort Construction’
mesh bootie in place of a traditional tongue for better fi t and
comfort, while the ‘Ignite Pwradapt Disc’ offers the same
appearance and comfort with the added convenience of Puma’s
‘Disc’ tightening system.
Rounding out the range is the ‘Ignite Pwradapt Leather’, which
utilises the same technologies with a full-grain leather upper.
RRP: $199.95 (Ignite Pwradapt), $209.95 (Ignite Pwradapt Disc) and $229.95
(Ignite Pwradapt Leather).
