How to hit a Tiger-style draw off the tee
While your left arm should form a fairly straight line in the backswing,
your right elbow should be relatively soft. This allows you to make a full
and powerful shoulder turn.

Release club and forearms through impact
Once you’ve completed your shoulder turn, remember that draw spin is
a creative act. Failure to release the club will cause the ball to stay right
or, worse still, for the shoulders to dominate the swing.

IMPACT
It’s fair to say that Tiger’s downswing and
follow-through look a little restricted and inhibited
compared to, say, 10 years ago. On the plus side, they
are much more under control now. Because his swing
is more biomechanically balanced now, he is able to
hold his spine angle for longer in the downswing and
through the hitting area. As you can see here, there’s
no lack of hip rotation in the follow-through.
