Overall, all three Rogue drivers impressed me
in varying ways that underlined the range’s appeal
to a wide spectrum of players.
The Draw does just that and is perfectly suited
to any player who fi ghts a fade ball fl ight and is
extremely easy to hit.
The standard model stood out for its
combination of forgiveness and distance, making

Despite almost being swayed by the standard
model’s all-round performance, the Sub Zero was
my pick of the three models. The slightly fi rmer
feel than the Epic Sub Zero is an improvement for
mine and the penetrating ball fl ight suited my
eye perfectly.
While the Rogue models didn’t dramatically
exceed the Epic and Epic Sub Zero in distance for
me, the added forgiveness makes them a more
friendly option that gives nothing away in other
key performance areas.

CALLAWAY SAYS: Building on the award-winning
Epic Drivers, the new Rogue Drivers – in Standard,
Draw and Sub Zero models – further boost the ball
speed power of Epic in an all-new super-forgiving
head design.
Jailbreak in Rogue drivers incorporates two
hour-glass shaped titanium bars positioned
parallel to each other behind the face, connected
to the crown and sole and creating a dynamic
relationship between the crown, sole and face of
the driver.
The result is a profound change in how the head
behaves at impact, resulting in more speed across
a much larger area of the face.

Rogue’s visually larger footprint also features
the largest ever carbon composite surface area
in a Callaway driver. The light and strong Triaxial
Carbon Crown saves signifi cant weight that is
subsequently redistributed in the head to increase
forgiveness and MOI.
During the R&D process, Callaway also
partnered with aerodynamics experts at Boeing,
to enhance airfl ow across key areas of the Rogue
Driver head, optimising the proven Speed Step
geometry on the crown, reducing overall drag and
naturally increasing head speed.
