THE MODEL

Every once in a while we come across a model who happens to ride dirt bikes
or ATVs, and Dani Lang certainly falls into that category. In fact, when we shot
this month’s poster, she was just healed from a broken foot she suffered in a
crash at Beaumont on her new Honda CRF150R. “My first bike was a Yamaha
TT-R125, and I actually have two of them—one here in California and one up
in Canada,” she said. “But I recently moved up to a real motocross bike and
maybe it’s too fast!”
A SoCal native, Dani grew up in San Clemente but now resides in Huntington
Beach, where she works part-time as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics.

THE BIKE

Although it didn’t fare well in our 250 shootout, the 2017 Suzuki
RM-Z250 is one of our favorite machines in the TransWorld Motocross
garage because it is so rider friendly and easy to ride. The Yoshimura
RS-4 exhaust does a lot for the Suzuki’s powerband, as it adds
much-needed horsepower throughout the rpm range. At $425, the
stainless steel/aluminum/carbon fiber version is both affordable
and effective. Factory Effex and SDG USA handled the aesthetic
upgrades, while we improved the rider cockpit with a set of Pro
Taper Fuzion bars in our favorite SX Race bend.
