e 6D ATB-1T EVO helmet has already been
y m in its trademark omni-directional suspen-
sion system, which allows for more movement in all directions on impact.
Built with the same elastomer technology that has made the 6D motocross
helmet popular, the trail MTB helmet has done its job in spectacular fash-
ion for a couple of our staffers. As motocrossers it can feel odd to strap a
minimalistic bike helmet on our heads, and the 6D bike helmet certainly has
a more substantial feel that we are accustomed to. And as we mentioned
before, we’ve taken a few big shots to the head while crashing our bicycles,
and every time we have come away unscathed and thankful that we were
wearing an ATB-1T EVO helmet.

sive tread pattern for a XC tire, the Force XC enjoys excellent grip at all lean
angles like we expected it to, but we were really caught off guard by the
tire’s low-rolling resistance and ability to speed along on flat terrain and on
climbs. We’ve logged about 300 miles on our set of Force XC tires since
they showed up, and they continue to impress us in every new ride area we
explore—dry, loose, hard-packed or wet, the Michelin tires have yet to let us
down. Michelin’s Cross Shield technology protects against sidewall slashes
and puncture flats, and set up tubeless on our Specialized Epic, they main-
tain pressure and rarely need adjusting for weeks at a time.
