Diet
Meal 1 5 egg whites, ½ cup berries, ½ cup oats, 1 tbsp peanut butter
Meal 2 Evogen Protein powder shake, 1 frozen banana, flaxseeds
Meal 3 150g protein shake, cup of greens, ½ cup of brown rice
Meal 4 Yoghurt: Evogen iso with 150g of Greek pot-set yoghurt, 15 almonds
Meal 5 150g fish and salad, avocado, olive oil and 10 almonds
Meal 6 5 egg whites, cinnamon and a cup of sautéed spinach
Workout week
Monday shoulders, abs
Tuesday hams, glutes, abs
Wednesday back, abs
Thursday quads, calves, abs
Friday arms, abs

Lauren believes exercise acts as an anti-
depressant, and this ‘never give up’ attitude
in the gym now corresponds to other aspects
of her life. If Lauren finds herself having a bad
day, in the past she would have been curled
up on the couch watching TV and eating
chocolates. Now she would rather sip her
BCAAs and hit the gym with her favourite
music pumping through her headphones.
Lauren feels her number one lesson is
portion control. “I wish I knew about macros,
portion control and didn’t binge eat. I cringe to
think of all the things I used to eat - but at least
now I know what it feels like to be unhealthy
and will never go back to that way of life.”
One tip Lauren has is not to compare
yourself to others. Engage a fitness coach to
help guide you on your journey and to push
you in the right direction. It’s not a short-term
fix but a lifestyle change.
A perfect Sunday for Lauren would find her
walking along the beach with her dog ‘Beauty’,
a spot of online shopping, followed by a lunch
of crispy barramundi with a large salad.

QUESTIONS:
What is your best beauty secret? When
training, I like to wear some makeup to feel good
about myself but this ends in breakout sometimes
so I swear by a retinol cream at night.
Who inspires you? Marissa McGrath – she has
a similar shape to me and has managed to reshape
her thick legs and lower body to become a leader
in the fitness world.
Who is your fitness and body role model?
I love Justine Munroe’s legs. I will always dream
of working on having the sexy definition and lean
legs she is so famous for.
What is your favourite food to indulge in?
Peanut butter and sweet potato.
