HINT OF DARK CHOCOLATE
A sweet yet very satisfying start to the day,
these oats can be prepped at the beginning
of the week and topped up with orange juice
every evening.
INGREDIENTS
- 60g (2¼oz) rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 15g (½oz) 90% cocoa dark chocolate,
fi nely chopped - 1 tsp agave syrup
- 200ml (7fl oz) orange juice
- fresh fruit or low-fat yoghurt, to serve
SERVES: 1
PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES
COOKING TIME: N/A
- Layer the oats, chia seeds and dark chocolate
into a clean glass jar. Make as many as you’d like
to see you through the week and pop the lids
on. Store in a cool place until needed.
2. The night before the oats are to be eaten,
top up the jar with orange juice and add the
agave syrup. Carefully stir, then put the lid back
on and store in the fridge overnight.
3. Top your morning oats with fresh fruit or low-
fat yoghurt and enjoy at home or on the go.
