had been in Iran, Chadi, in Lebanon. He kept his ticket from that day in his wallet and at their wedding he gave it to
Armita. He said, ‘I have kept this as my token of luck to this day. Now my dream has come true and I offer it to you.’
LOVE IS OBSERVANT ‘The first year
that Chadi and I were together I came
across an absolutely unique ring design
on the Internet. Chadi was sitting next to
me and he noticed my face light up,’
says Armita. In 2011 when Chadi
proposed — he’d organised a luxury
cruiser to pick them up and take them to
Scotland Island, on Pittwater, where a
table was set for dinner by the water
— he did so with a perfect replica of that
ring. Armita says she had always known
how her wedding dress would look — the
Steven Khalil custom-made organza, tulle
and French lace mermaid style gown was
inspired by the dress she, as a little girl in
