PARTY ON At each guest’s setting Amy set wrapped bomboniere containing
her mother Pam’s famous almond bread and chocolates. Speeches were
interspersed between dinner courses, and platters of mini desserts were
served as guests got up to dance.

PERSONAL FAVOURITES Amy says she has always wanted to
marry in her parents’ beautiful garden. ‘It just seemed more
personal and meaningful,’ she says. ‘And it allowed our guests to
be more relaxed and just attend one venue.’ They hired a
marquee to seat 120 guests and allow room for a dance floor.
‘We had the softness of the white tulle walls of the marquee, and
we had eight one-metre pendant drum light shades made in
silver fabric to hang low over the tables,’ says Amy. The
centrepiece was a silver urn with all white and silver flowers.
Mercury-glass candle holders on each table held the tealights.
