hook or size needed for
correct tension
Q Four 25mm (1in) D-rings
Q 1m (1yd) of 25mm (1in) wide
brown cotton belt webbing
Q Fray retardant
Q Sewing needle and thread
Q Wool needle
Q General sewing supplies
Finished size: 25cm high x 37cm
wide (10 x 14^1 ⁄ 2 in)
Note: This is an easy skill-level
project. To adjust the size to fit
your laptop, measure its width in
inches and multiply by 2.75. Add
one for the turning chain and chain
this number. Work as instructed until
the piece is twice as long as your
laptop, plus 15cm (6in) for the flap.
Fasten off and finish as directed.
Australian and UK crochet terminology
is used – North American readers
should read dc as sc (single crochet).
Worsted weight is equivalent to
10 ply yarn.
Tension
11 dc and 12 rows to 10cm (4in).
Always take the time to check
your tension.
