used Kristen has to
do with the fact that
in this film she is the
opposite of a Chanel
girl,” Assayas says.
“She is Valentine,
she doesn’t care
what she looks like.”
“The casting process was fairly simple and
happened in a very obvious way,” says
Assayas. “Chloë Grace Moretz [left] and
Kristen Stewart were my first choices and
they happened to like the screenplay.”
