This process has allowed IMG
to onboard several new civil and
mechanical capabilities, including
concrete formwork, scaffolding
and rigging. These increased
capabilities help IMG offer its clients
more complete integrated solutions
to meet their needs.
A focus on training
IMG’s continued growth has led to
a focus on education and training
to support the increasingly diverse
range of skills that the company has
to offer.
“We have a number of
apprenticeship schemes to train
new people coming on board,” says
Holland. “We are bringing on quite
a few new people, and we will put
these young engineers through an
apprenticeship so that they become
qualified tradesmen, whether as
welders or as fitters or as trade
assistants.”
IMG’s training prepares both new
and existing staff for roles across
a diverse range of capabilities
and skill sets, providing a valuable
education in an underserved field.
