favourite marble, Pietrasanta in Italy’s Tuscany was a natural

draw for sculptor Sollai Cartwright, who is currently

working in the town. New Works, on at Melbourne Art

Rooms until 26 November, includes sculptures like Head

Study (2016, above), in which Cartwright’s passion for the
