Looking for
a project to
brighten up
your homework
zone? Fill an old
painted picture
frame with
corkboard. Fold
lengths of washi
tape back on
itself, pressing
the sticky sides
together, and pin
it to the board in
a lattice pattern.
Trim tape to fit.
Hang it above
your desk using
picture-hanging
strips. Now you
have a super
spot to pin notes
and reminders.

T-Rex in the house! To make a heavy-footed predator, use a
photocopier to enlarge the Dinosaur template (below) to 250%.
Cut out template pieces using scissors then place them on thin
cardboard – an old cereal box will do! Trace around the templates
with pencil (don’t forget to trace out 2 feet) then cut out. Using
acrylic paints, paint both sides of cut-outs in any colour
you wish – a mix of greens looks cool! Let dry after
each coat. Paint a round eye on each side of your
dinos using white paint and a dot of black. Slot
the parts together, using the picture as a guide.
