Forging a connection between inside and out, an
elongated20mconcretebanquette–pouredinsitu–inthe
livingareaseeminglycontinuesthroughtheframeless
glass and becomes the barbecue bench. Timbers used
inside and out further connect the spaces.
Colourandtexturealsoprovideunitybetweentheexterior
andinteriorandtheoldandnewsectionsofthehouse.
Darkandlighttones,togetherwithnaturalmaterialssuch
asbasalt,marble,off-whiteconcreteandlighttimbers
appear throughout. Together they provide cohesion while
creatingatimelesshomeforthisfamilytoenjoy. #
