first, in 1905, as a cartographer, and then as a
would-be archaeologist in search of an ancient
city. Results were, to put it mildly, inconclusive. Charlie Hun-
nam (Sons of Anarchy) doesn’t have the right mix of clear-eyed
courage and fuzzy-minded recklessness as Fawcett, but this
unsettling movie has a good understanding of how jungles
