Nucleus Global is a group of medical communications agencies
working with pharmaceutical and biotechnology enterprises.
Based in London, with offices in Manchester and Macclesfield,
the business saw profits rise to £12.5m in 2015 and showed
assets of £18m. Cameron, 6 6 later this month, founded the
£150m company in 1986 and recently moved from being its chief
executive to chairman. He owns 80% of the operation. New entry

Gnodde, 57, became chief executive of international business
last year for Goldman Sachs, succeeding Michael Sherwood (qv).
The London-based South African has spent more than 30 years
at the bank and was handsomely rewarded in the 1999 float. Its
shares have done well over the past 12 months, leading us to raise
Gnodde, a Kew Gardens trustee, to £130m. 2016: £125m, 799=

Iraq-born Kirdar, 80, launched venture capital group Investcorp
to invest the wealth of the Gulf states in the West. The Bahrain-
headquartered operation manages more than $10bn of assets.

Car sales
Lister, 74, and Keith Bradshaw (qv) co-founded the Coventry-
based Listers car dealership in 1979, transforming it into one of
the largest privately owned motor groups in the UK. In 2015-16
profits hit a record £21.5m on nearly £1.1bn sales, suggesting the
business is worth £225m. The family stake is valued at £110m and
we add £20m for salaries and other assets. 2016: £120m, 831=

London-based O’Halloran & O’Brien (Ohob) was founded in
1972 and is owned by Irishman O’Brien, 70, and his family. The

sales in 2015-16, when it also had £47m net assets. New entry

- In 2015-16 profits rose to £12.3m on nearly £200m sales and
with £35.7m net assets it is worth £120m. The separate Knights
Chemist and Ankav Properties add £8.8m of assets. New entry

Dublin-born Sutherland, 71, joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 and
stepped down as chairman 20 years later. His stake was valued
at £87.5m in the 1999 float. He now focuses on charity work and
is the UN special representative on migration. 2016: £130m, 766=

Music
Rolling Stones drummer Watts, 75, says he tries to retire at the
end of each tour but is persuaded by his bandmates Sir Mick
Jagger and Keith Richards (both qv) to carry on. The group’s 14
shows in 2016 took more than £70m, so clearly there are
compensations. London-born Watts’s granddaughter Charlotte
has launched a career as a model and artist. He and wife Shirley
run Halsdon Arabians, a Devon stud farm. 2016: £120m, 831=

The Hollywood star and his
London lawyer wife are
expecting twins next month.
Lebanese-born British
barrister Amal , 39,
specialises in human rights
and international criminal
law. Her clients have
included the deposed
president of the Maldives,
Mohamed Nasheed.
The couple married in
2014 and, although they
bought a New York
apartment in a block where
flats change hands for as
much as $65m (£50m), their
long-term home is likely to
be the Berkshire manor on
an island in the Thames that
they bought for £7.4m and
spent a reported £12.5m to
remodel last year. Kentucky
native Clooney, 56
yesterday, has said of it:
“That’s a house where I can
imagine living with my wife
and getting old and grey.”
It may be some years
before he is drawing his
pension, though. He starred
in the Coen brothers movie
Hail, Caesar! and play ed a
bombastic financial TV
pundit in Money Monster.
His average annual screen
earnings work out at $19m,
and the Hollywood Reporter
reckons that he was paid
$40m to appear in the
Nespresso coffee adverts.
