The Pink Floyd singer and guitarist’s 30-show Rattle That Lock
tour took gross box-office receipts last year of $31m (£24m).
Gilmour, 71, lives in West Sussex with his wife, the novelist Polly
Samson. One of their sons, Gabriel, had a small part in ITV’s
period drama series Downton Abbey. David Gilmour Music and
David Gilmour Overseas paid the musician £36m from 1988 to
1999 and showed net assets of £8.4m in 2015-16. New entry

Internet retailing
Childrensalon, a global online retailer for luxury kids’ clothing,
began in 1952 as a high street shop. Chief executive Harriman-
Smith, 64, took over the Tunbridge Wells company from her
mother and set about tugging the business into the internet age.
When her graphic designer husband, George, 69, posed the idea
of an online retail site, her first thought was: “Why would anyone
buy anything on the internet?” Today the firm has 230 staff and
operates websites in seven languages. In 2015 profits rose 77% to
£10.7m on £42.8m turnover and it is worth £107m. New entry

Home furnishing
Harris, 74, sold the family carpet operation Harris Queensway in
1988, netting £69m, and set up Carpetright. When he stood down
as chairman of the Essex-based business in 2014 it had annual
sales of nearly £500m. His son Martin runs the flooring start-up
Tapi, backed by investors including Lord Kirkham (qv) and Sir
Harry Djanogly (qv). The Tory peer’s charitable work includes the

Games
It is 20 years since brothers Sam, 44, and Dan, 42, launched
Grand Theft Auto, in which time the video game franchise has
sold more than 250m copies. Their Rockstar Games is also
behind the Wild West hit Red Dead Redemption. The London-
born pair, based in New York, have amassed a £110m fortune but
are embroiled in a lawsuit with a former colleague, who claims to

Malmo-born Ibrahimovic arrived last summer at Manchester
United, one of the few clubs in the Premier League that could
afford his £220,000-a-week contract. His goals helped the side
win the League Cup before a knee injury last month ended his
season prematurely. The former Sweden international, 35, has a
long-term endorsement deal with Nike and has trademarked his
first name with the Swedish p atent and r egistration o ffice. His
homeland’s latest rich list puts his wealth at £110m. New entry

A businessman pledged his £20m wine collection as collateral
for a loan last year in a deal brokered by Jersey resident Jagger,
- The arrangement stipulated that the bottles had to be stowed
in the Wiltshire cellars of Octavian Vaults, Jagger’s wine storage
firm, where he holds £1bn worth of wines. The family’s investment

Dubliner Mullen, 62, and brothers James, 57, and John, 65,
founded shirtmaker Thomas Pink in 1984 and sold it to French

£20m and he retains a £40m stake. His latest investments
include Idle Man, a London-based menswear retailer, and the

in the bank. Her role there and in the takeover of Manchester City

company, Pertemps Network, made £15.6m profit on £614.5m
