Wayne Holdsworth has resigned from
his position as CEO of Motorcycling

(^) Broadford is looking a million bucks
after going through some big changes.
Amongst the improvements is
refurbished motocross toilets, an
improved motocross track, a new
PeeWee track, new camping area, new
watertanks,250treesplantedandanew
childrens playground at the dirt track.
(^) Mason Semmens was the big winner at
the first round of the Victorian Junior
Motocross Championship. Semmens won
all three races in the 250cc A-Grade
class at Cobram. Regan Duffy and Bailey
Malkiewicz finished second and third.
TASMANIA
(^) The second round of the MX State
Championships at Penguin were
postponed due to unsafe riding
conditions caused by rain.
(^) Hugh McKay took out the second round
of the Coastal Motocross Club
Championship at Blackwood Park. McKay
beat Brandon Gray and Alex Whitchurch in the Pro Open class.
QUEENSLAND
(^) Luke Weaver dominated the opening round of the CQMX series in
Emerald, winning every race in the Senior Open class. Carl Goss and
RichardEgertonfinishedsecondandthirdrespectively.
TheInglewoodTrailridescheduledforthe1stand2ndofApril,was
postponedduetobadweather.Newdateswillbeadvised.
(^) Richie Evans, Luke Weaver and Riley Norman were the placegetters at
Round 1 of the TNQMX in Townsville. Evans won all four races.
NEWSOUTH WALES
(^) The opening rounds of the Australian
Off-Road Championships, which were due
to be held in Dungog, were postponed
due to the large amount of rain in NSW.
The terrible weather resulted in
logistical issues and damaged tracks.
(^) Tye Simmonds recently completed the
Back ’O Bourke Ride for Cancer bicycle
ride. Spanning three days, 375
kilometres and three rivers, the ride
featured cyclists who have all been
affected by cancer. They travelled
between Dubbo and Bourke to raise
funds for a room at the Macquarie Home
Stay. The homestay will provide
affordable accommodation for patients
requiring treatment at the Dubbo Base
Hospital and their families.
