WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MEAL?
I have two answers. The first one is in Tokyo, at about
6am, I had a sushi breakfast at the Tsukiji Fish Market
with the fishermen after the tuna auction. And another
time I had a New Year’s Eve campfire dinner in the
Himalayas, and the guides we were with had smuggled,
on horseback, champagne and glass f lutes to drink
while we were camping. It was amazing.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CITY?
London. I spent my junior year of college in London
and that’s when I knew I wanted to be an actor: I was an
English major and then halfway through I added a theatre
major. The last time I went back I f lew in just for one day
to see my friend in a play at the West End.
WHAT’S A MISCONCEPTION PEOPLE HAVE
ABOUT YOU?
That I’m just like my character, Donna Paulsen, and I
have her skills. I have none of her skills, including reading
people’s minds! People ask us a lot whether we’ve gained
a working knowledge of the law, and I’ve gained none. I
mean, I play a secretary and I don’t even have a working
knowledge of how to file things or how to use a computer.
WHAT FRUSTRATES YOU?
Never having enough time.

Beyoncé, how she’s like
Donna, and gives us an
exclusive look at Harvey
Specter’s dance moves
WHAT IS YOUR PARTY TRICK?
I don’t have a party trick and I’m really ashamed of this.
I was thinking about Gabriel [Macht, who plays Harvey
Specter], and what I would reveal about him is that he’s
actually an amazing dancer – like a break dancer – and he
can kick really high! I don’t have an awesome party trick
but I can reveal his! [Pauses] You know what, I can catch
things. Any time my husband throws me the keys without
telling me, I always catch them. I can freakishly catch things.
WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE?
I’m loving on Beyoncé. There’s so much inspiration all
around and there are so many women expressing their
unique voice and I feel like it’s a magical time for that.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT?
I’m not going to say my kids are my achievement because
they are their own achievement – but on a more classical
note, when I look back between seasons 1 and 2 of Suits, I
had my second child and we all moved from LA to Toronto,
and I was breastfeeding a newborn and adjusting a
four-year-old to a new school – and I didn’t go mad!
WHAT IS YOUR LIFE MOTTO?
Run your own race.
Suits Season 7 is coming to Universal in June.
