TRIANGLE FROM BUTTERFLY GUARD
1
1: Often, when playing butterfly guard, your opponent will do a good
job of keeping you on your back as pictured..

2/3: Bait your opponent into passing by bringing your right leg to
the right of their head. From here, they will feel like they can apply
pressure to pass.
4/5/6: Just before your opponent can secure the pass, bring your right
leg back to its previous position and shoot for the triangle choke.
7/8: This attack is a little risky, as it relies on timing, but it works really well
for me, especially when you’re dealing with an opponent who’s stalling.
